submit an abstract and personal message
for inclusion in a commemorative book for Larry
Dear Overman Coworkers,
As part of the celebration of Larry's 80th birthday, we would like to put together a book of both scientific abstracts and personal messages of congratulations.
The scientific abstracts are intended to showcase current science that former members of his lab are pursuing. We would also like to use this as a means for selecting speakers for the symposium to be held at the event.
As such, if you would like to be considered for a talk, please submit your abstract by March 31, 2023. Those not attending the symposium, are asked to submit their abstracts by April 31, 2023. Feel free to include a note to Larry as part of your abstract.

If you do not have a scientific abstract to share, we would still encourage you to submit a paragraph with a special message / memory for Larry. Please use the template for these as well. It would be great if we could have something from as many past co-workers as possible since we will make them into a book for Larry (don’t tell him!).
